About Vermilion Art
Founded in 2015, Vermilion Art is the first independent bilingual gallery of more than 500 galleries in Australia focusing on Chinese contemporary art. Vermilion Art serves as a bridge to introduce outstanding Chinese artists and their works to Australian collectors, art institutions and the public. Vermilion Art represents leading Chinese contemporary artists based in Mainland China and Australia such as Fang Lijun, Li Jin, Cang Xin, Chen Wenling, Xiao Lu, Geng Xue, Lin Chunyan, Peng Yong, Sun Ziyao, etc. To date, Vermilion Art has held more than 35 exhibitions and participated in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Southern Hemisphere's largest art fair - Sydney Contemporary Art Fair. These exhibitions and Chinese artists have attracted many attentions including major media such as ABC, Australian Financial Review, The Australians and the Art Collector magazine. Vermilion Art is located next to the iconic Sydney Bridge within easy reach of the Australian Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA). As John McDonald, the well known art critic says, “Vermilion art shows the most creative works in a creative venue.” “It’s not just objects that Vermilion is selling, it’s pure energy - the excitement of a culture in constant flux.” Read Dr Geoff Raby's essay on Australia's role in Chinese contemporary art here. |

Now nest in homes of common people without their knowing.”
